The Courts of Nineveh

In the Courts of Nineveh, our advocates ask the questions of those in authority within the Church which they seem reluctant to answer. We feel that if enough people ask the same questions, perhaps our Bishops will be persuaded to answer.

Luke 18 (paraphrased): Finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because these people keep bothering me, I will see that they get justice, so that they won’t eventually come and attack me!’.
And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly”

And so we begin, owing to the enormous furore being generated in the social media about the Diocese of Oxford by asking the following questions of the Bishop of Oxford which seem to us to need to be answered.

We have grouped these into categories to enable you to digest them more easily.
